Caribbean inhabits the memory
Aware of our individuality, we rarely imagined ourselves as isolated. We saw ourselves anchored to solitude like never visited islands, condemned to be mapped from a distant horizon. We began to recognize the other as another island and longed to form an archipelago to stop being our own outsiders. This series is a metaphor of the island that we are, with archetypes of paradise, treasure, remoteness, discovery and possession.
